About Erin

Erin has a passion for working with clients and building long term relationships. Communication is key, and Erin has a knack for both listening and understanding the client’s needs and goals as well as educating and explaining the methods to work towards those goals. After thoroughly discussing the plan, prompt implementation with attention to detail enhances the overall experience.  As with any long term relationship, it is important to continue to share life changes along the way.

Erin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in 2007. While attending college, Erin worked part-time at the DMB Community Bank as a teller. Shortly after, she began her career at the Investment Centre.

Since October of 2016, Erin has been a general member of the De Forest Area Rotary Club, an extension of Rotary International, where the club members are involved in many area community service projects. For the 2018-2019 term year, Erin served as the De Forest Area Rotary Club President.

One of Erin’s favorite hobbies is snowmobiling with family and friends, especially on local trails. Because of this, she is also a member of the Columbus-Fall River Sno-Blazers snowmobile club which maintains the local trail system and holds fundraisers for local community organizations. In October of 2017, she was elected the club’s President and continues to serve in that role.

Erin lives in Columbus with her husband, Travis, two French Bulldogs, Pierre and Bentley, and cat, Jynx. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as taking her dogs to the local dog park, gardening, bicycling and spending time on the family farm.

Erin Jones is not registered to offer investment advisory services through Cetera Advisor Networks LLC.

If you could meet anyone, past or present, it would be:

Warren Buffet

Hidden talent:

Maybe not a “hidden talent” however, a local creamery had a competition to invent an ice cream flavor. As a lover of ice cream, I was very interested! My flavor invention was “Tira-Moo-Su” and I won! It was a delicious blend of vanilla ice cream, mascarpone cheese, rum soaked lady fingers and coco powder. Better yet, the prize was free ice cream for a year.

Something on your bucket list:

When I was a little girl, I remember seeing hundreds of bicyclists riding past our farm in the country on a long trek. One day, I hope to endure a 100- mile bicycle ride through the countryside of south-central Wisconsin.

Place you’d most like to visit:

I would love to visit Finland during the peak northern lights season and stay in the glass igloos. The dream trip would also include snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and dog sledding.
